She is still a great sleeper. She sleeps a full 12-13 hours at night and still takes 2 naps. Her first nap isn't very long (maybe an hour) but her second nap is around 3-4 hours. She and Connor are still napping the same time each day and I love it. If she were to wake up, she will play with her baby doll until she's ready to go back to sleep. She still sleeps with a paci and her lovey, the only time she falls asleep without a paci is when she is in the car. We have to keep several in her crib.
She is the happiest when she eats! She is down to two 7 ounce bottles each day. One in the morning and one in the evening. I'm going to start mixing milk in with her formula this month so she's on all milk by the end of the month. I honestly don't think she will have a difficult time because she loves to drink her brother's milk on occasion (whoops!!). She also loves her sippy cups. She prefers the straw cups over the spout cups, but straw cups can be a little tough to clean with milk, so she may be getting spout cups to drink her milk out of. She still only drinks water, no juice, and I'd like to keep this up as long as possible.
Developmentally, she's doing quite well. She is so chatty... and LOUD! She's beginning to repeat some words. She has said "more" on occasion when I ask her if she wants more to eat. She has also said "mouse" when I was pointing out a stuffed animal was a mouse. She's super giggly all the time and loves to give kisses, especially to her baby dolls.
She is on the verge of walking. She can stand up and balance for a split second and she even took a step the other day. Her confidence is still at an all time low, but once she believes she can do it, she will be walking all over the place. Her brother still likes to push her down and we are working on that, so I think she has a little bit of a mental block (rightfully so!). She bear-crawls all over the place, especially when she's wearing dresses and/or on concrete.
Here are some pictures of her from today.
Don't think she's too thrilled to show off how she can stand up
