We first started at "the Green Monster" (the scoreboard). I'm not entirely sure what I was expecting, but I was amazed at how big it was. The numbers they display are metal and the team names are either metal or a laminated cardboard (these are used for colleges); they are HEAVY!
Next stop was the locker rooms. The home locker room was set up for a presentation, so it wasn't set up as it would be during the season. We were, however, able to get a really good look at the visitor's locker room. I've never seen a locker room in person before (the only images I have in my head are from movies), but these were really nice! The lockers were bigger than I expected. The room itself was big, but I guess it would have to be in order to accommodate so many men. The weight room wasn't as big as I thought it would be, but it still had a lot of equipment. I guess I'm used to going to the gym and seeing all of the machines.
We then took a look in the dugouts. They're pretty typical dugouts. Cameron mentioned that behind the door was a bathroom. I kinda chuckled at that, but I guess it would come in handy if a game ran long.
I've been up in the press box, so we skipped that. I hadn't been in a suite before, so we went into one of them. I didn't realize how awesome they were. There's an air conditioned room that's set up with food to eat during the game. It has a huge window so if you were too hot, you could sit and watch the game inside while you cool off. There's a door that leads you down to an area with seats so you can sit outside and enjoy the game also. The view from up there is fantastic!

He's not really feeling up to taking this picture
This is as close to the batting cages as we got

His favorite part was crawling around the locker room

Those suites are the way to go! I've seen 2 or 3 games from a suite. I think I'm spoiled now.
