At the hockey game
Watching the game on dada's lap
Saturday, we threw a baseball birthday party for Connor at Fluor Field. We had so much fun! It was perfect 70 degree weather and Connor seemed to have a blast. He is loved by so many people. He woke up around 9:15 and was excited to see Sam, Abbey, and Emma. He had breakfast and played, while I packed everything up. My parents and grandparents got to the house around 10:30 because I was desperate for some help. I put him down for a nap around 11, and he finally fell asleep around 11:15. While he was napping, Cameron and Sam grilled the hot dogs. My mom, Cameron, and I packed up almost everything and headed to the field to set up. Sam, Abbey, my dad, and my papa all stayed behind so Connor could sleep some more. At 1:00, guests started piling in. We had a lot of food and some great company. After we ate, we sang happy birthday and let Connor dig into his smash cake. I'm not entirely sure how much cake he ate, but he enjoyed the icing! The red icing was everywhere! Somehow, Cameron and I managed to get it all off of him without having to bathe him. Then, it was time for presents. This little boy got everything imaginable. He's really into books and anything that rolls and makes noise. Well, he sure won't be bored around here anytime soon! Between wagons, 4-wheelers, and trucks/cars, he is set for good! When we finally got home, Connor passed out! While he was asleep, Cameron and I opened all of his gifts and put them together. It was SO much easier doing it while he wasn't getting in the way. Once we woke him up, he played with everything! It was so funny to see him go from toy to toy. He is so blessed to have so many loving people in his life. We had so much fun, and hope everyone did too! Here are some pictures my mom took of his party.
